Eric Bindus

I build audiences, then connect them to brands and revenue.

Creative strategist and content operator. I develop content strategies and execute them through production. I started two baseball brands (325K+ combined followers across platforms, not unique people) and plan content for other creators. $20.3K in combined all-sites tracked affiliate sales in the previous 12 months.

Work, and what it produced.

Two baseball brands I founded and run. My work for other organizations is kept separate, further down, so it is clear which is which.

Dingeruns

My own brand. I founded and operate it. Started in 2019, as a high school freshman.

I started Dingeruns to connect with baseball fans, with content that creates excitement, emotion and a connection to the game. The audience came first. Partnerships and affiliate sales came later, built on the trust that audience gives. I build and manage it: short-form content, distribution and partnerships.

Strictly Catchers

My own brand. I founded and operate it. Started in 2020 during COVID, from zero.

I'm a catcher, and I wanted a page for the catching community. It started with interesting equipment and clips of talented catchers. Over time it became a platform for creating content with companies, reviewing gloves and catching equipment, and building brand relationships. It reached 60K on Instagram from a standing start.

My role
Founder and operator.

Four case studies.

One brand I built myself, one creator I wrote a plan for, and two organizations I worked for. Each one says what my role was, what I did, and what happened, without crediting me for what other people did.

Orangetheory.

One role at the same company that combines three functions: managerial responsibilities, social media marketing and sales. I describe the content work and the sales work separately below, because they are different kinds of work.

Management and social media marketing

Orangetheory Fitness

Social Media Marketing & Sales Associate, with managerial responsibilities. Akron and Canton studios. August 2026 to present.

I manage and create content for both studio accounts. I help set up how the content gets made, and I make it myself.

Strategy and systems
  • Establish content standards for both studios
  • Build repeatable workflows for planning and publishing
  • Organize the content process
People and coaches
  • Coordinate the people involved in the content
  • Carry managerial responsibilities in the role
  • Help coaches build their personal brands
Hands-on execution
I write the scripts, film, edit and publish. I do the work myself, so I can carry out the strategy and not only plan it.
I started in August 2026, so no results are claimed here yet. Watch "This is Orangetheory" in the film room.

Sales

Orangetheory Fitness

The sales part of the same role. August 2026 to present.

Scope
One of the three parts of my role at the same company, separate from the content work.
What I do
I work with members and prospective members and sell memberships, and I am paid on commission.
Sales and content are separate kinds of work. I do not use one to explain the other, and no sales figures are shown here.

Brand partnerships.

Companies I've worked with through my baseball accounts, and how each relationship actually worked.

Affiliate results.

Tracked affiliate results over the previous 12 months, as shown in my AvantLink dashboard with all of my websites selected. These are combined totals across everything I promote through it, not results for a single brand.

$20,276.63

Tracked salesTotal value of orders tracked to my affiliate links. This is sales revenue, not my earnings.

216

OrdersIndividual purchases tracked to my links.

$3,041.42

Affiliate earningsMy commission on those sales. A separate, smaller number than sales.

What this shows. Hands-on experience with affiliate marketing, audience monetization and conversion-focused content, with real tracking behind it.

What it doesn't claim. The totals are not from one video or campaign, and they are not tied to one brand. A purchase also depends on the product, the price and the buyer, so I'm not taking credit for every order.

Growth on accounts I've worked on.

Three accounts that are not mine. For each one my role is stated, with the follower count at the start and the level reached. The growth belongs to the account and its team. My part is what is described.

What I can take on.

One piece or the whole process. Every item here comes from work I've already done, and the line under it says where.

Eric Bindus

A catcher's view of social media.

A catcher sees the whole field and calls the game. I work the same way: read what's happening, choose the next play, and repeat until it compounds.

I started Dingeruns in high school because I love baseball and wanted to make fans feel something. Strictly Catchers came during COVID, built for catchers like me. Along the way I learned the rest of the process: scripting, filming, editing, distribution, partnerships, and what a post is worth once it's live. I'm based in Stow, Ohio.
